Things that have gone…………..

2010 once again saw the band playing over 60 bookings throughout the year.
And once again many of these were weddings and other private functions in some wonderful venues ranging from Gosfield Hall to marquees and Golf clubs.
We also played a couple of fancy dress parties. These are always great fun and we never miss an opportunity to dress up. Check out the photo section for some pretty horrendous shots of the band. (Not sure what the theme was though)

It has been great to see the King William and the Compasses Pubs doing so well with a couple of really great beer festivals during the summer. We will be performing at these venues again throughout this year, so please keep an eye on our website gig list for more information regarding local events/ beer festivals where you can catch up with us and sample some fine beers.

Russ and Graham made a trip to Devon in October where they teamed up with our old drummer, Stewart, for a couple of pub gigs. These were really fun but not too sure what the locals made of it all. Check out the photo section.

The Onley Arms at Stistead have also been putting on Sunday afternoon acoustic sessions during the summer that have been so well supported and great fun.

We finished off the year with a great night at the St Anne’s Castle in December for our traditional Christmas bash. It is always a good night at the Castle so get along if you can.

Things to come……….

We have already kicked off 2011 at the Cricketers pub in Moulsham Street, Chelmsford for what was a fantastic night. We are playing there again in August so get along if you can; it’s a great place for music.

We will be organising an evening featuring the songs from Bob Dylan and Neil Young. This will be held at the St Anne’s Castle. The evening will be split between us and some local guest singers. At the moment a firm date has not been set but we will let you know when we have a fixed date. It will be a great evening and not to be missed.

Beer festivals again at the King William and the Compasses, acoustic afternoons at the Onley Arms, Special events at The St Annes’Castle….
As well as other music nights in all the local haunts, the madness very much continues, so, get along if you can, it will be great to see you.

Take care…….
