Happy new year to everyone. Thanks to everyone that came along to our gigs in 2009 we really do appreciate your support and are always so pleased to see lots of familiar faces at our gigs.
gigs.

2009 was a really good year for us with probably more gigs than previous years. (We must be doing something right). We also finished our CD, What Now, vol 3. This has sold really well but we do have a few copies left if you missed out. Just £5.00 will secure you with a wonderful snapshot of an historic occasion (when we all stayed sober long enough to record it). Get your copy now while stocks last……It’s a beautiful thing.

We continue to up date our set list with new songs that we feel will fit in with our style (whatever that is) and make an evening with us fun and entertaining, so please come along whenever you can to keep live music thriving in Essex. Nearly all of the venues we play at have live music most weeks with great local acts performing, so do try and support these if you can.

A Busy 2010

We have a pretty busy diary lined up for 2010 with gigs at all the usual places, The St Anne’s Castle, Stocks Bar, The Welsh Princess, and The Tulip along with a couple of new venues The Butchers Arms and The Wagon and Horses.

Updated Website

Russell (we still don’t know where he comes from) has been working hard on updating the web site (when he’s not cleaning cars) and there is a new photo section, videos and up to date gigs and news to check out. So go on line, www.theredwoodband.co.uk. For more info.

The King William Reopens!

The end of December saw the reopening of The King William pub in Braintree. And we will be playing an acoustic set there on the 22 nd of January. It will be a bit of a tight squeeze but will be great fun so do come along if you can. (if only to see how we will all fit in). They have a great selection of real ales and this is definitely a lovely pub to check out if you’ve not visited before.
